Kepler has promoted Remy Stiles to global CEO and Mallory Simmonds to CEO, EMEA and APAC.

Stiles has been with the media agency since its beginning, cofounding the company with group CEO Rick Greenberg in 2012. Before her elevation, she served as CEO, North America; various initiatives such as Kepler Creative and Kepler U have been launched under her supervision.

“Kepler is incredibly personal to me,” Stiles told Campaign. “I care deeply about our people, our clients and the work we do together. I’m thrilled to help lead us into this next chapter, one defined by momentum, growth and possibility.”

Kepler North America, with clients such as DoorDash and Hasbro, won 14 additional clients this year under her leadership.

“Our focus on innovation and future-proofed partnerships has fueled strong global momentum,” Stiles said. “We share the same vision and commitment to client excellence in every market, while staying attuned to local nuances. Together with Mallory, we will continue to build on this momentum and evolve to meet the needs of our future-focused partners.”

Joining Kepler in mid-2014, Simmonds began her journey with the media agency as director, marketing analytics in New York. Before her promotion to CEO, EMEA and APAC, she served as president, EMEA.

“Kepler U.K. has grown incredibly in the last several years and has demonstrated real expertise in driving results for European and global brands,” she told Campaign. “My immediate focus is on continuing that growth.”

Under Simmonds’ leadership, Kepler’s growth in EMEA reached double-digits for five years straight. She also oversaw the agency’s Global Amazon Advertising Unit.

“We have a real opportunity to help clients across regions prepare for, adjust to and excel in the shifting AI landscape,” she explained. “We’re continuing to invest in our teams and our technology globally to do that.”

Having spent well over a decade at Kepler, both women emphasized to Campaign the importance of saying “yes” to everything and trusting their own instincts.

“Back then, I overthought so many decisions,” Stiles said. “But looking back, I usually knew the right move all along. I’ve learned to lean into those instincts and trust myself.”

Simmonds mentioned the most significant “yes” she gave was when she moved to London in 2018 to launch Kepler’s London office.

“Even when the ‘yes’ has been reluctant or even skeptical, it always turned out to be worth it,” she said. “There are so many opportunities to get involved. The more you do, the more you get back from it.”

The media agency is one of several others — such as IDEO, Napkyn and Sylvain — under Kyu, a network within holding company Hakuhodo DY Holdings.
